EXPERIENCE

As a director Tanya has a wide range of experience producing Music and Arts, History and Science documentaries for BBC, C4, Discovery and the web.  Recent films include an award winning short about Levon Biss and his ground breaking project, Microsculpture. The film was made for Oxford University Museum of Natural History's Microsculpture Exhibition which became an internet hit. The short film won staff picks on Vimeo with over 8 million views within a week. Microsculpture has won many awards including Jackson Hole in 2016.

 

 

 

 

PRODUCTIONS

Tanya has directed a wide range of films including: Mummy Autopsy for Discovery, the highly acclaimed history series Crown & Country,  a 13 part series on Man and Horse with War Horse producer Revel Guest.  Recent work includes music research on Herbert von Karajan’s Myth & Magic for BBC Four directed by John Bridcut. Tanya has made films for many Arts based organisations, including ‘Flipside’ at Aldeburgh and is also an experienced music and arts event producer who has developed a number of projects with BBC and Arts Council including BBC Music Nation project with folk supergroup Bellowhead for Cultural Olympics 2012.
